Last updated: 1 March 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of learn.doctormix.com (“Our Site”) and the purchase of digital products offered by Doctor Mix Ltd (“Doctor Mix”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.
Please read these Terms carefully before making any purchase. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them.
You are a consumer if you are an individual purchasing for personal use. You are a business customer if purchasing for commercial use. Some provisions differ — these are clearly indicated.
3. Payments & Merchant of Record
All payments on Our Site are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as our Merchant of Record (MoR). This means:
- Your purchase contract for payment purposes is with Paddle, not directly with Doctor Mix Ltd
- Paddle handles all payment processing, sales tax calculation, and VAT compliance
- Your payment method statement will show a charge from Paddle
- Refund requests for digital products are handled by Paddle under their policies
We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal, as offered through Paddle's checkout.
4. Digital Downloads
Our digital products include sound packs, sample libraries, presets, and downloadable course materials.
- Downloads are made available immediately on successful payment
- You will receive a download link via email from Paddle
- Links are time-limited; you can access permanent downloads through your account
- All digital products are for personal use and royalty-free in your original creative work
- Redistribution, resale, or sharing of downloads is strictly prohibited
5. Course Access
When you purchase a course, you receive a licence to access the course content:
- Lifetime access to all purchased course content and future updates to that course
- Access is personal and non-transferable — you may not share login credentials
- Course videos are hosted on Vimeo; you may download materials where the download option is provided
- We reserve the right to update, revise, or retire course content. Affected students will be notified
- A certificate of completion is issued when you finish all required modules
6. Refunds & Returns
As Paddle is our Merchant of Record, refund requests are processed via Paddle's systems.
Refunds may be refused in cases of abuse or repeated refund requests across multiple orders.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Our Site — including text, images, video, code, and course materials — is owned by Doctor Mix Ltd or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Sound packs and sample libraries are licensed for use in your original creative work. You may not resell, redistribute, or incorporate them into other sample products.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doctor Mix Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Our Site or our products. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer in another jurisdiction in which case your local consumer protection laws may apply.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Our Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
